What We Did
The Client
Unlike our other builds, Find Surrogate already had a baseline in place — an early-stage surrogacy matching concept — before we came on. We took it over, re-architected it, and scaled it into a production-grade marketplace.
The Problem
The early version couldn't reliably support real matching workflows across three distinct user types — surrogates, intended parents, and agencies — at the reliability or privacy bar that healthcare-adjacent data demands.
Constraints
An existing foundation to work around rather than a blank slate, plus healthcare-adjacent data that meant privacy and trust had to be designed into the architecture, not bolted on afterward.
How We Worked
Agile sprints, Slack and email with the client team, rebuilding the platform on Next.js, TypeScript, and Laravel while keeping the existing user base intact through the transition.
